The process of adding and removing contacts from groups will vary depending on your webmail client of choice:

Roundcube

You can add contacts to groups by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Contacts task from the main menu.
  2. Select the contacts you wish to add to a group.

    Note: You can select multiple contacts using the Ctrl (or ⌘ Command if you use a Mac keyboard) and ⇧ Shift keys on your keyboard.

  3. Drag the selected contacts from the contacts list, and drop them on top of the group where the contact should be assigned.

To remove contacts from a group:

  1. Click on the Contacts task from the main menu.
  2. Select the group that contains the contacts you wish to remove from the group list.
  3. Select the contacts you wish to remove from the group.
  4. Select Remove selected contacts from group from the More button at the top of the contacts list.

You can also add and remove contacts from groups when editing the specific contact. To do this:

  1. Open the Contacts task from the main menu.
  2. Select the Groups tab from the Contact Details section for the specific contact.
  3. Select the groups where the contact should be assigned.

Webmail Classic

To add or remove a contact from address book groups, you need to:

  1. Edit the specific contact by selecting the Address Book tab from the main menu and clicking on any of the details (Name, E-mail, Group, Filter) or the edit link for the respective contact.
  2. Select the groups where the contact should be assigned in the page that appears.

    Note: You can select multiple contacts using the Ctrl (or ⌘ Command if you use a Mac keyboard) and ⇧ Shift keys on your keyboard.

  3. Click on the Update button to save the changes.

If you wish to add multiple contacts to a group:

  1. Click on the Address Book tab from the main menu.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the specific contacts.
  3. Select the group where the contacts should be added from the Put in Folder drop-down menu above the contacts list.
  4. Click OK in the pop-up confirmation window that appears.
