Note: Deleted messages will be moved to the Trash folder (default), marked for deletion, or deleted permanently depending on your message deletion settings configured in the webmail client.

The process of deleting messages will vary depending on your webmail client of choice:

Roundcube

To delete messages in Roundcube, you need to:

  1. Open the Mail task from the main menu.
  2. Select the folder containing the specific messages from the folder list.
  3. Select the specific messages from the message list.
    Note: You can select multiple messages using the Ctrl (or ⌘ Command if you use a Mac keyboard) and ⇧ Shift keys on your keyboard.
  4. Click on the Delete button from the top toolbar or press the Del key on your keyboard to delete the selected messages. If you hold the ⇧ Shift key on your keyboard while deleting the messages, the default delete behavior will be ignored, and the selected messages will be permanently deleted.

Webmail Classic

To delete a single message via Webmail Classic, you should:

  1. Select the Inbox tab from the main menu.
  2. Click on the folder containing the specific message from the Folder Status section (folder list).
  3. Read the message by clicking on the sender's name/e-mail address or on the subject of the message.
  4. Click on the Delete button from the menu.
  5. Click on the OK button from the pop-up confirmation window that appears.

To delete multiple messages at once, you should select the checkboxes on their left side from the message list and select the destination folder from the Put in Folder drop-down menu. You can use this method to delete single messages as well. If you wish to select all the messages displayed in the message list, you should select the topmost checkbox.

You can delete multiple messages at once by following these steps:

  1. Select the Inbox tab from the main menu.
  2. Click on the folder containing the specific messages from the Folder Status section (folder list).
  3. Select the checkboxes in front of the specific messages from the message list. If you wish to select all the messages displayed in the message list, you should select the topmost checkbox.
  4. Click on the Delete button from the menu.
  5. Click on the OK button from the pop-up confirmation window.
