Magento and Elasticsearch 1-Click Installation Now Available on Select Plans
The latest version of Magento requires Elasticsearch to work properly, and getting this search engine up and running is not exactly a point-and-click experience, as you can see from our How to install and run Elasticsearch article.
At least, it was not a point-and-click experience until today. We are happy to announce that we have added Magento and Elasticsearch to our 1-click automatic installation tool available in the Control Panel that comes with each ICDSoft hosting account.
Magento is a very resource-demanding application and to run it properly you need a powerful hosting account. This is why Magento + Elasticsearch are available for automatic installation via our App Installer platform only for the following managed VPS plans - SmartVPS Pro, Startup, First Class, Ultimate.
