Account Management

General You can see a list of your hosting accounts in the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Accounts" section in the left menu of the Account Panel. The list contains several columns which provide general information about each hosting account, including its plan, expiration date, domain, usage, etc. The Manage screen By clicking on the account username, or by using the Manage button available in the "More" drop-down menu in the "ACTIONS" column on the right, you can reach the "Manage" section for the specific hosting account. The menu for each account contains the following links:   Account Details   Shows information about the hosting account (username, signup and expiry dates, server where it is hosted, main domain, hosting plan, subscription and service status, storage and traffic usage, associated domains and SSL certificates). You can also associate a new or existing Client with the hosting account, and configure whether the "24/7 Support" link should be shown in the hosting Control Panel. The latter option is useful if you don't want your client to see information about support.   Suspension and activation of services    You can use these controls to manage the provided services for each hosting account.     All services can be suspended by using the "Suspend account" button.    Stopping separate services is possible through the corresponding "Suspend service" button for each service.    When you stop the Mail service, the following services on the server will be completely disabled: Incoming mail servers: POP3, POP3S, IMAP, IMAPS, Incoming mail servers: SMTP, SMTPS    Stopping the web service for an account disables the web server on port 80 and 443, rendering the underlying site inaccessible.   Contact Details   Shows the Contact Information for the hosting account and allows its change.   Renew   You can use this link to renew the hosting account.   Upgrades   Allows you to purchase additional resources for the hosting account or upgrade the hosting plan to a higher level plan.   Order Domain   This link takes you to the Order section, where you can purchase another domain to be parked to this hosting account.   Order SSL Certificate   This link takes you to the Order section, where you can purchase an SSL certificate and have it attached to your hosting account. You can also purchase standalone SSL certificates for installation on external web servers.   SSH Access   Lists the SSH keys for the hosting account.   Doing Business As   Allows you to set auxiliary contact information that will show up in the account's Marketplace section of the hosting Control Panel. Use this feature if you want the current account to see specific contact details or a custom message in their Marketplace section.   Account Notes   Allows you to add Private notes or Notes to our support staff.   Change Password   This interface allows you to change the password of the hosting Control Panel, without knowing the current one.   Unclaim   Allows you to unclaim the hosting account from the Account Panel. The Reseller Panel allows you to manage only administrative information related to a hosting account. To manage other features, such as uploading files, creating mailboxes, etc., you have to use the Control Panel of the hosting account. Check the Logging to the hosting account Control Panel help section for additional information on how to log into the Control Panel of the hosting account. Renew vs. Bulk Renew The Hosting Accounts section allows you to renew your existing hosting accounts and their related services. For this purpose, you can use the buttons "Bulk Renew" and "Renew" in the "ACTIONS" column on the right. While the "Renew" will simply add the hosting account and its related resources (such as the domain) to the shopping cart, the "Bulk Renew" feature will allow you to add more than one account for renewal, and from the "Bulk Renewal" section, you would be able to choose exactly which services you want to renew.

To add an already existing hosting account to the list of accounts in your Account Panel, you need its main domain name and the hosting Control Panel login credentials (username and password). You can claim hosting accounts by going to the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Аccounts" section, and following the "Claim Account" link. On the next page, you need to enter the domain name of the account, its hosting username and password, as well as associate a new or existing Client with the account. Please refer to the Client Management help section for additional information.

To unclaim a hosting account, you need to go to the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Accounts" section to see the list of your claimed hosting accounts. The list contains several columns. In the last column, click "More" and then the "Manage" button corresponding to the hosting account you want to manage. You will be introduced to a new screen containing different options and actions. To unclaim the account click the "Unclaim" link in the "Account Management" sub-menu. A new window will open, displaying additional information. You will be required to type the password for your Account Panel before confirming the action.

The Client setting of each account defines who and how can pay for the specific account. The client type could be one of the following: No Client - Reseller Managed Client - a Client from the "Clients" section No Client - Reseller Managed accounts can be renewed/upgraded only by you through your Account Panel. Billing-related emails will be sent only to you, and end customers will not see any references to ICDSoft. Accounts of Clients can be renewed through your Account Panel and the hosting Control Panel, at the price you have set for the specific store in the Online Stores section. Your end customers will not see any references to ICDSoft. They also have access to the Account Panel for clients. It is available at the "Marketplace" section of the hosting Control Panel. Services that your clients purchase through the Account Panel for clients are automatically claimed in your Account Panel.  For more information on the Clients interface, and how you can control the access to the Administrative panel for clients, please make sure to check the help section for Clients.  You can set up an account to use ICDSoft's prices through the Account & Clients > "Clients" section of your Account Panel. There, you should either edit the Client associated with the hosting account or create a new one. When editing or creating a Client, you will be able to bind it to ICDSoft Store. The Control Panel user will see ICDSoft as a hosting provider.  Note that to be able to move an account to a Client using a specific store, you must have the specific products enabled in the store, and have set prices. You can change the Client setting of each hosting account through the Manage screen of the specific account in the Hosting Resources > Hosting Accounts section.

To log in to the Control Panel of a particular hosting account, you need to go to the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Accounts" section to see the list of your hosting accounts. In the last column, click the "Control Panel" button corresponding to the hosting account you want to log in to.

The purpose of the private notes is to allow you to add notes to each account, which will be visible in the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Аccounts" section of your Account Panel. To add private notes regarding a particular hosting account, you need to go to its Manage screen through the "Hosting Resources" > "Hosting Аccounts" section. Click on the "Account Notes" link, type your notes in the "Private notes" text field, and click the "Save notes" button. Private notes are personal notes related to a particular hosting account and may contain information which is important to you. Please do not use this field to add notes to the technical support team. Use the "Notes to support staff" section for this purpose.

The "Notes to support staff" option allows you to add notes which will be visible to our support staff, whenever an end-customer of yours posts a support request to our support team. To add notes to support staff regarding a particular hosting account, you need to go to the Manage section of the hosting account, click on the "Account Notes" link, type your notes in the "Notes to support staff" text field, and click the "Save notes" button.

To edit the default Welcome e-mail template, you need to go to the "Hosting Resources" > "My Account" section on the left pane of your Account Panel. There, go to the "Custom Templates" sub-menu and then click on the "Customize Welcome Email" link. There are several fields and options that you can change: From: The e-mail address and/or name that will appear in the "From:" header of the message Action: Here you have two options:   Send only to me: When this option is checked, the Welcome email will be sent only to you (the Reseller).   Send directly to customers with a copy to me: When this option is checked the Welcome email will be sent to you (the Reseller) and the email address contained in the Personal information of the hosting account. Subject: The subject of the message Hosting-only Template: This field allows you to edit the text that will be sent to a customer with an order for a hosting account without a domain name registration. Hosting with Domain Registration Template: This field allows you to edit the text that will be sent to a customer with an order for a hosting account with a domain name registration. Hosting with Domain Transfer Template: This field allows you to edit the text that will be sent to a customer with an order for a hosting account with a domain name transfer. You can use the "Reset to default templates" button to reset the templates to the default ones.

The default index page is the page that will be placed by default to your newly-opened hosting accounts. To edit the default index page template, you need to go to the "Account & Clients" > "My Account" section of your Account Panel, then click on "Custom Templates", and on "Customize Index Page". There, you can make changes to the HTML source of the default index page. Do not forget to click on "Update Template" to save the changes you made.

When you associate a SureSupport.com account with your Account Panel, you will be able to post support requests on SureSupport.com from your Account Panel. To associate a SureSupport.com account with your Account Panel, you need to go to the "Account & Clients" > "My Account" section. In the "SureSupport account" sub-menu, type your SureSupport username and password (case sensitive) and click verify.
